Victor Williamson's new Farpoint Station will open in the Fall of 2014 with new simulators, missions and Space EdVenture Camps. Mr. Williamson was the creator and founder of the Christa McAuliffe Space Education Center. Visit their web site and check out Farpoints current class and workshop offerings.

Help Build a New Space Center

On August 1, after 22 years and 310,000 visitors, the Space Education Center closed its simulators for renovation and repair. The Voyager and Odyssey were too costly to renovate and were closed permanently. The Magellan, Phoenix and Galileo opened for field trips only on February 11.

Several Space Center supporters recently organized the Space EdVentures Foundation. The Space EdVentures Foundation is a non-profit organization. The Foundation is working to bring back the original Space Center's public after school, weekend and summer programs by building a new Space Center scheduled to open in the winter of 2014.
