Refunds for Overnight Camp Gift Certificates

Dear Patrons,
News of the Space Center's closing has been released.
A refund check will be sent to those who opted to receive a Gift Certificate instead of a refund for a canceled August and September Overnight Camp.   I have your names and addresses.  Please expect a refund check mailed within the next four weeks.  If you do not receive a refund by the end of November, please contact the secretary at Central Elementary School.

Thank you,
Mr. Williamson

  4. I'm traumatized by this. I honestly never expected it to end this way. I hope that this is truly not the end. Anything I can do to help, Mr. Williamson, just let me know...

  5. I almost don't want my money back. (of course, it's my moms) it will just remind me of what I don't get to use it for.

  6. Mr. Williamson, I know for a fact you've worked miracles in the past and gotten the rich and powerful to sponsor the center. what is confusing me now is why we can't get more sponsors and donators get the space center to open again, can't we? As a last resort, maybe we could get some of the space center volunteers to go to iworlds and maybe recreate it, in a manner of speaking. Rework their system to make it like the space center is. With overnight camps and things of the sort. I firmly believe there is still hope here, so please tell me if any of these ideas are invalid.

  11. Mr. Williamson, I think this could actually be the greatest thing to happen to the center in its history! Central has never really appreciated or even like that center, and that's never been more apparent. If you could find somewhere else to host the simulators, the center could grow stronger than ever! You could even get your own building! Or at the very least be founded in something that's going to be more reliable than this when hard times come. Please don't lose hope! Things could easily get better if you just keep looking for somewhere else to host the simulators!

  12. You do realize that the school could have just put a riot on there hands?

Believe me, I will come clear from Idaho, at any time of the day, just to help tear down and single-handedly build it if necessary. There is now way that a boring school can make this kind of magic happen. I feel I will be one to speak on the behalf of my school. my older brother attended space camp for 4 years. his first year was when they were planing to stop sending kids there, because the man in charge of the trip was retiring. He felt it was an experience to never forget. There will be no way to dull the impact it had in my life. I planed on being an astro-physicist because of you. It teaches sacrifice and bravery, something you have to dive into. Life teaches more than normal classroom subjects.

  13. Okay, I agree w/ Nathan...
As soon as I heard about the closure, I actually wrote a song about how I felt...
I hereby promise that I will try to find a street corner and sing once a week and hope someone will feel bad for the girl with the sign reading "SAVE THE SPACE CENTER"...
all money will go to this!!!
